Tomorrow is the big Christmas Open House at Rodgers’ Pine Hill Farm (569 Eastbrook-Harlansburg Road, New Castle, PA) from 10 AM – 5 PM. Santa will be there from 11 AM – 1 PM to hear Christmas wishes and have photos taken with the kids (you’re welcome to bring your own camera too!). The shop will be fully stocked tomorrow, not only with my crafts, but with candles, floral arrangements, body scrubs, soaps, and food gifts. Plus you can hike the hill and pick out your Christmas tree, order fresh pine wreaths and garlands, and enjoy cookies, cocoa and other snacks while browsing through the shop. I’ll try to post some photos next week.
It’s been a busy week of crafting to get everything ready for tomorrow, but I did manage a little time to crochet a scarf for my new coat. It turned out so well I decided to make a few more and list them in my Etsy shop. Right now you can choose from black or cream, but I’m working on a red one to go in the shop early next week. Here’s a few photos:
They are surprising soft for such chunky yarn, and they only get softer the more they are worn.
Hope to see you all tomorrow at the farm!
