I have a couple of special shows this weekend to tell you about.
Last weekend after the show was over in Slippery Rock I moved all of my merchandise out to Rodger’s Pine Hill Farm (on the Eastbrook-Harlansburg Road in New Castle- you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for driving directions). It will be my “shop home” for the month of December. Traditionally the shop doesn’t open until the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but this year we are opening early for two special shows.
Tomorrow evening (Nov. 18th) at 6:30 PM, Santa will make an early appearance to read a storybook by local authors to children. This event is free and open to the community! There will be cocoa and cookies available too. The shop is partially stocked for Christmas, so parents can shop during storytime if they wish.
Saturday (Nov. 19th) we will be having a Christmas Sneak-Peek at the shop from 10 AM – 2 PM. The shop won’t be fully stocked until after Thanksgiving, but many of the crafters have dropped their merchandise off already and it’s looking a lot like Christmas! In addition to my crafts and jewelry, there will be candles, soaps, food gifts, metal crafts, and decorations. Plus, you can walk up the hill and tag your tree before the Christmas rush begins. There will be refreshments available at this show too.
If any of you are able to make it, I’ll hope you’ll stop by. There’s nothing like a Christmas tree farm to get you in the mood for the holidays!
